Apple iphone launch in india-has the apple which was known for its agressive pricing failed in india?

The much awaited apple iphone was launch in india on 22nd of august 2008. There where many prebookings for this phone(even my friend in india was one among the ones who booked the phone) considering the fact that the price of the phone which ranges from 200dollars which was quite low compared to its feautures. It was expected to me slightly higher than the price in us.but the sad part is that the phone has been priced 4times higher than the prices in u.s .i am just confused why the apple has priced it with such a high price tag in a country which has a large mobile market ! Anyway let us see how the indians react to it!

Hi people i have once again made up my mind to check the new version of the opera web browser after completly satisfied with the latest version of firefox.Because i stunned by the way firefox has updated with more features and more security embeded.But after downloading and insatalling the opera 9.5 version i had a double attack! yes, this new opera looks much better,better graphics,better safety,and you have additional features like the inbuit messaging service where you can check mails like you did in outlook and the most important feature is that you dont need to download the softwares for downloads torrent files.So thats what i have found interesting today.Do check back later for my complete review.

Hello people sorry for the delay in blogging as i was indisposed due to an attack by by body's immune system with the intruder virus and was just lying down on my bed waiting for my guy to win and kill the enemies.Anyway ill be better in a few days from now and blog as usual.

Online teaching has been a boon for those people who could not afford a exclusive teacher at their premises and for those who could not travel distances and spend money towards it.For the past few years online teaching had made a revolution in the way students and teachers interact with each other.Eventhough there were many students waiting for teachers there were not many takers from the teachers side as they had no means to contact the students directly and had to be just working for corporates who provided these services.

Recently i came across one service named 'Wiziq' which was an online teaching resource where both teachers and students register free of cost .The important fact is that they provide teachers which an exclusive online teaching tool which include live audio and video sessions with students with additional features like powerpoint and balckboard which the teacher and the students can use.There are both free and paid sessions of different subjects by teachers all over the world. I tried the free session of vedic mathematics and my experience was 'just amazing'. You can raise hands for questioning in case of doubts and chat with the teacher and the fellow students. Now is that really great and simple!

Yahoo mail which was considered as the pioneer for sending electronic mail has just lost grounds with the latest tsunami in online world the Gmail from Google.The gmail has already started to capture the hearts of Yahoo mail users through its simple design with value added features like the easier and faster attachment of files, loads faster than both the classic and new interface of gmail.Gmail also has an option to load the basic version which is a boon for those suffering from slow internet connections.In recent times there has been rumour among people about the non availability of names for email id's(i dont know about the trustworthiness of the rumour), which made yahoo to buy two new domains and made it available with other names,so you may not get a yahoomail.com behind your mail id. Eventhough yahoomail still rules with user friendliness its slower loading time makes it irritating to use (its upto my knowledge). So i think it is high time to check Gmail

Microsoft has started steps towards revamping the vista

After the big blow after the launch of the much hyped vista which was from the largest manufacturer of operating systems in the world 'Microsoft', the people in microsoft had another in the form of retirement statement from it owner Bill Gates.
It has to take steps immediately from the downfall of the vista and the patch up work has to be done and should be brought in as quickly as possible because of the major flaws in this version of os from microsoft(for more on the flaws of the vista read my previous post here).Now the people in microsoft have woke up to revamp this operating system to stay alive till it launches its next operating system 'windows 8'. Rumours say that windows have already invested $500 million to make the vista more powerful and work better.This is good news for all windows users around the world.But should we have to pay and get a software which is just half baked and above are limits? people have already started to move towards the linux versions of operating systems which are equally good on features and far more superior in security,safety etc.,.For example the much loved browser Firefox is a linux(open source) software so let us not wait for anymore let us adapt ourselves for the future!

And now the Sms mania has travelled from mobiles to computers through internet.Yes, this new service provided by some websites whic need you to register with your name and mobile  number upon which you would get a message with a password in your mobile to login to the portal, once you login you can send unlimited sms to all your friends with the comfort of typing the message on a qwerty keyboard rather than the cramped mobile phone number pad. Some of these providers have a limit of 100 sms per day whereas some do not have a limit on the usage.Most service providers send messages only to a particluar country whereas there are some who send messages to mobiles all over the world. Testing  is an important phase of every product launched to make it fit for consumer use and to make it fool proof. The negative side being that the software provider does not take any responsibilities for any damage of data etc., in your pc!

Nano world's cheapest car

The car which was much expected by almost the majority of indians for the last two years 'NANO' was a hit when it was unveiled at the delhi motor show this year. When Ratan Tata Announced the concept of 1lakh car there wasn't a good reception from the auto car giants in india.They were just commenting on the car to be just a modification of an Auto Rickshaw from tata and there were others who felt a car for 1lakh was not feasible.But the car turned heads when it was revealed here in delhi .The launch was such an expected lauch after all these speculations about the car but Tata has just made a revolution by giving such a stylish car with more space than expected at an unbelievable price to the Indian market.I was just stunned when i saw this car at the delhi show to be honest i was one amongst others who were criticising this car . Carmakers like BMW,GM,RENAULT etc., praised the effort of tata and BMW showed its concern to work with TATA in the future after seeing this car.Hats off to TATA engineers and the group which made a revoultion and brought the Indian product to be praised by the world. It has now left the Auto makers all over the world to rethink on developing a car similar to Nano!

What is a SSD(Solid State Disk)?

You would have heard recently about pc/laptops with  capabilities of processing and  booting 60 times faster than your  existing one, this is because of the use of the latest SSD Disks which replaces the Hard Disk Drives used to store data.An SSD is a Solid State Device used to store the data in its solid state memory which often consists of SRAM or DRAM which makes it faster to store data and retrive data.These SSD disks have many advantages some of them are:

Make Gmail work as your personal secretary!

Many would love to keep of their worries behind when they go for a holiday. Afterall a holiday is to enjoy and not work part time.Switching of your mobile alone doesn't mean you are free ,after the blackberry revolution people expect a reply immediately!So this is a small treatment you have to give to your gmail account to reply a standard message to people who mail you.
This is a step by step guide :

1. Log in to your Gmail account.

2. Click 'Settings' on the right side top .

3. From the 'General' tab, select 'Vacation responder on' in the 'Vacation responder:' section.

4. Enter the subject and body of your message in the 'Subject:' and 'Message:' fields. (Gmail will automatically affix the signatures if you have assigned any in the bottom of the page)

5. Check the box next to contacts to reply to only those in contacts list to avoid replying to all who mail you.

6. Click 'Save Changes.'

When you have successfully completed the above steps you'll see a banner across the top of your Gmail account displaying the subject of your vacation response. If not then repeat the above steps again. You can click 'end now' within the banner anytime you want to switch back to normal mode.

SONY revokes the latest PS3 update
