Many would love to keep of their worries behind when they go for a holiday. Afterall a holiday is to enjoy and not work part time.Switching of your mobile alone doesn't mean you are free ,after the blackberry revolution people expect a reply immediately!So this is a small treatment you have to give to your gmail account to reply a standard message to people who mail you.
This is a step by step guide :
1. Log in to your Gmail account.
2. Click 'Settings' on the right side top .
3. From the 'General' tab, select 'Vacation responder on' in the 'Vacation responder:' section.
4. Enter the subject and body of your message in the 'Subject:' and 'Message:' fields. (Gmail will automatically affix the signatures if you have assigned any in the bottom of the page)
5. Check the box next to contacts to reply to only those in contacts list to avoid replying to all who mail you.
6. Click 'Save Changes.'
When you have successfully completed the above steps you'll see a banner across the top of your Gmail account displaying the subject of your vacation response. If not then repeat the above steps again. You can click 'end now' within the banner anytime you want to switch back to normal mode.
